Keflavík – Kulusuk
In the upcoming flight I have to cross a distance of 700 km above sea. Therefore, a thorough pre-flight check of the aircraft is very important. It reveals stuck flaps that must have jammed after the previous landing. The problem is solved and I can take off. On a long flight, I am accompanied by commercial airliners at higher levels on their way between Europe and America. Towards the end of the flight, the plane starts to vibrate. The reduced power on the second cylinder indicates where the problem is likely to be. After a hard landing at Kulusuk Airport in Greenland, I have a local mechanic make repairs to the second cylinder.
