Vágar – Egilsstaðir

It is rainy weather on the island of Vagar, according to radar the rest of the route should be better, so there is no need to postpone today’s flight (or change the preset of real weather). I’m refueling and after the unpleasant incident on the last flight I rather change the plugs. I climb to 12,000 feet and fly another long leg over the sea. Even this flight is not without a minor incident when the airspeed indicator stops measuring mid-flight. The problem is solved by turning on the pitot tube heater, which measures air velocity. For the rest of the flight, I enjoy Iceland and land at Egilsstaðir airport, where melting snow is present even at 11°C.
