Flight 5

Gatwick – Edinburgh

After a long wait for takeoff clearance (after 5 commercial planes landed), I finally hit the skies. The flight is not planned to take the shortest route possible, but I try to include at least some interesting places. I’m heading out to see London, which fortunately isn’t all hidden in the clouds, so I can see some of its famous sights. I fly over Windsdor Castle, through the city of Oxford, Blenheim Castle, Warwick Castle, the cities of Birmingham and Liverpool, the beautiful Lake District National Park and continue my flight to Scotland, where I land at Edinburgh Airport at sunset.
